This summary is for convenience. The full policy below controls.
1. Public profile and listing text
When a submission is approved for public display, its public fields may be shown on PICKOLA and indexed by search engines. These include display name, introduction, capabilities, country, languages, categories, services, availability and representative work information.
Fields described as private in the form, such as an official or business email, verification evidence, minimum offers and private contacts, are not displayed publicly.
2. Portfolio and official links
Public portfolio and official links you submit may be displayed as clickable outbound links. You must have the authority to submit them.
Third-party websites are operated under their own terms and privacy policies, which PICKOLA does not control.
3. Samples and supporting materials
Uploaded or linked samples, including images, trailers, pitch materials, showreels, frames, documents and other portfolio samples that may be supported now or in the future, are used only to review, operate, display, promote and facilitate business discovery and inquiries for the submitted listing, according to the visibility you selected and its approval status.
Public samples are visible on public profile and IP pages. Materials explicitly marked private or confidential are restricted to authorized recipients, applicable rights holders, PICKOLA administrators and reviewers, or Deal Room participants, as appropriate.
4. Ownership and limited license
PICKOLA does not take ownership of your submitted text, links or samples. You keep your ownership and rights.
You grant PICKOLA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, only as reasonably necessary to host, reproduce, format, translate where enabled, display, distribute within PICKOLA, and promote the listing and the service, while the submission remains submitted or published.
This license does not itself license, sell or transfer the underlying IP to any buyer. Any rights transfer requires a separate agreement between the parties.
5. Technical adaptations
PICKOLA may generate reasonable thumbnails, excerpts, metadata, translations and technical adaptations for display and discovery. These do not change ownership.
6. Review and moderation
Submissions may be reviewed, moderated, rejected, unpublished or suspended for reasons of accuracy, rights, safety, legality, duplication or policy compliance.
7. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of your submission, for holding the necessary permissions, ownership or authorization, for any third-party personal data you include, and for not submitting confidential material as public.
8. Editing, visibility and removal
You can edit eligible fields and change availability or visibility where supported. You can request correction or removal through the PICKOLA contact address below.
Some records may be retained where legally required, for security and audit, to handle disputes, for completed transactions, or in backups.
9. No guarantees
PICKOLA does not guarantee approval, ranking, exposure, inquiries, licensing, distribution, investment or revenue.
10. Sponsored placement
Sponsored or featured placement is always labeled and kept separate from organic ordering and the PICKOLA Score.
